I was chatting with the reporters when we were on our way to Taipei. We talk about the blogs that we usually read and the way how companies should interact with bloggers.
For corporations that want to reach out to bloggers, they should prepare to have a new way of conversation. It is no more an one way or top-down approach but they are engaged in a new global conversation with a larger community. It is about sincerity and share of information.
Blogs level the playing field of every one involved in the global conversation, including corporations. It is not about consolidating a blog list, sending them information but more.
You can see that big boss of corporations are opening blogs and involve themselves as part of the global conversation. They read other industry blogs and send in comments. In this way, they are getting involved and regarded as part of the community.
Nothing is simple. It is much more simplified. You know that.
